I have the delivery flight worked out...
To bring VH-NWF from Boeing Field to Sydney

All time are in Adelaide Local time (+10.5UTC)

No set crews.. we will practice Despatch, briefings, procedures, cockpit familiarity etc..
Flights will not be completed on Vatsim - as these are training flights..

But it would be good if someone could setup a FS-Host (or we find a public one) so other members of Noble can join us.

These flights get the aircraft to Sydney on Saturday Afternoon, ready for Worldflight Sunday Morning..
There are even some sleep breaks in there.. for the jet-lagged!

NOTAM 31OCT15 - WORLDFLIGHT 2015 DEPARTURE LEGS

1. INTRODUCTION

On 1 November 2015 1000 AEDT, the WorldFlight group will commence their annual around-the-world flight. This will commence in Sydney and will pass through Adelaide, Perth and Learmonth before leaving VATPAC-administered airspace to Jakarta. It is anticipated that significant traffic levels will be present along these routes. Past events have seen in excess of 200 aircraft on the first leg with the last flights departing Sydney over 2 hours after the official departure time.

This NOTAM will provide pilots with information about ATC requirements with regard to air traffic management. Pilots should endeavour to comply with these requirements to minimize delays and disruption.

2. ABBREVIATED CLEARANCES

ATC may elect to issue an abbreviated clearance instead of a normal airways clearance. This is only available to pilots of jet aircraft that have planned via the routes listed in Appendix A. When abbreviated clearances are in use, pilots will be notified by ATIS:

"ABBREVIATED CLEARANCES AVAILABLE FOR ELIGIBLE AIRCRAFT. AIRCRAFT IN RECEIPT OF AN ABBREVIATED CLEARANCE SHALL MAINTAIN 5000 FEET AND DEPART VIA RUNWAY 34L KATOOMBA TWO DEPARTURE OR RUNWAY 34R MARUB FIVE DEPARTURE RADAR TRANSITION"

In order to reduce radio congestion, pilots of eligible aircraft shall contact airways clearance delivery and request "ABBREVIATED CLEARANCE" with the ATIS identifier. ATC will respond with one of the following:

"QFA25, RUNWAY 34L, SQUAWK 2034" (if abbreviated clearance is available)

or

"QFA25, ABBREVIATED CLEARANCE NOT AVAILABLE, CLEARED TO ADELAIDE VIA KATOOMBA FLIGHT PLAN ROUTE..." (if abbreviated clearance is unavailable)

Please note that ATC will not be actively checking flight planned routes for conformance. Pilots must not use this procedure unless they have planned via an approved route. Failure to do so will result in the clearance being invalid and may result in a loss of separation.

3. SYDNEY AIRWAYS CLEARANCE DELIVERY

Two airways clearance delivery frequencies will be in use at Sydney. To balance radio traffic and workload, it is essential that pilots use the correct frequency for their parking location.

Aircraft parked west of Runway 16R/34L - use 133.80 MHz
Aircraft parked east of Runway 16L/34R - use 127.60 MHz

4. AIRCRAFT CLIMB AND DESCENT SPEEDS

After departure, pilots of jet aircraft are expected to utilize either a standard, NADP1 or NADP2 climb profile. In any case, upon passing 3000 FT above aerodrome level, pilots are expected to accelerate to 250 KT or minimum clean speed (which ever is higher) without delay. Pilots should notify ATC immediately if they expect to deviate significantly from a normal climb profile.

On descent, pilots of jet aircraft are expected to descend at Mach 0.78 into 280 KT above 10 000 FT AMSL. Pilots must comply with Standard Terminal Area Arrival Speeds (STAAS) listed on STAR charts unless an alternative clearance is issued by ATC. Pilots must notify ATC immediately if they are unable to comply with STAAS or other speed restriction issued by ATC.

5. HOLDING FUEL

During legs within VATPAC-administered airspace, ATC anticipate a maximum airborne delay of 1 hour. Pilots should carry sufficient holding fuel to absorb this delay.

6. CONTACT

For operational matters, contact David Zhong, VATPAC Director Operations, at operations@vatpac.org

7. DISTRIBUTION

This NOTAM is issued by VATSIM Australia Pacific (VATPAC) and shall be distributed via:

In about 2 hours from now I will be boarding a plane in KJLN bound for KDFW so I can get on an A380 bound for Sydney this evening, then on to Adelaide. I look forward to seeing everyone there!!!
